Description

Riverside Park is a quiet undeveloped nature park with wetland areas along the shores Boyne River.  A narrow walking path meandering through the park is kept mowed during the summer months with benches and tables providing seating and a small picnic area.  This park provides a great natural habitat for many species of wildlife.

Look for waterfowl on the pond in all seasons.  Mallards, American Black Ducks, and Common Mergansers are routine, but other dabbling ducks show up frequently during migration.  Both Trumpeter and Tundra Swans have been known to use the pond as well.  A Bald Eagle is spotted regularly and many songbirds use the trees and brush alongside the pond during breeding season.
